Multi-language audio changes the sound. Lipsmatch changes the mouth.
What an audio track changes, and how a Lipsmatch version lets new viewers see you speak their language, in your own voice.
The short answer
A multi-language audio track is an extra soundtrack on a YouTube video, in another language. Only the sound changes, so your mouth still speaks the original words. Lipsmatch makes the version where the mouth matches too, in your own recreated voice. Each language comes back as a finished video.
A Hindi dub, before and after Lipsmatch
This Britannia Bourbon film was shot in English and aired in Hindi. Tap Original to see a dubbed soundtrack on its own: a Hindi voice over an English mouth. Tap Lipsmatch to see the same moment with the mouth matched to the Hindi words. On a channel, you post the Lipsmatch version for Hindi viewers.
What an audio track changes on your video
Every dub you add becomes another soundtrack on the same video. Each viewer hears the track for their language.
What changes is the sound. The picture stays as you shot it. So a Tamil viewer hears Tamil, and your mouth still shapes the English words.
An audio track cannot change the picture. A version where your mouth matches is a new video file. So it goes up as its own upload. Lipsmatch makes that version, on your own dub or in your own recreated voice.
Be seen speaking the language, in your own voice
A dub feels natural when nothing shows that it is a dub. The voice must sound like you. Your mouth must move with the words.
Viewers notice when the two do not agree. They notice it most in a close-up, where they look at your face.
Lipsmatch covers both. With Lipsmatch with dubbing, our technology recreates your voice. That voice speaks your translated script with the pace and energy of your original take. Then we change your mouth to fit every new word, frame by frame.
Your eyes, your expression and the light on your face stay as you filmed them. A viewer who finds you in Hindi or Telugu meets the same face and the same energy your subscribers already know.
We recreate a voice only with the approvals you already have. That includes every guest who speaks in the video.
A Lipsmatch version next to an audio track
Both give viewers a dub in their language. The difference is what they see while they listen.

What comes back in each language
Each language arrives as one finished video, made from the file you send. These are the parts of it.
Our technology recreates your voice and has it read the translation the way you said the original
Our team translates what you say and keeps your names, catchphrases and channel terms as you say them
If you have a dub from a studio or a tool, send it. We fit your mouth to it
We change your mouth to fit each new word and leave the rest of the frame as you filmed it
Our team watches each version against your original before it leaves us
Post it on a language channel, in a playlist, as a Short, on Reels or on your website
How a Lipsmatch version is made
You send one video. We send back a version for each language you name.
How it works
Send your export
Send the file you exported from your edit, and name each language. Your own export keeps the most detail around the mouth.
Choose the dub
If you have a dub for each language, send it. Or ask us to make it. We translate what you said. You read that translation before we make any voice.
Hear yourself
If we make the dub, our technology recreates your voice to read the approved translation, at the pace of your original take.
See the mouth match
We fit your mouth to every new word. Our team then watches each version in full.
Post it
Give it a title and description in that language, and publish it as a new video.
Where to post each language version
A Lipsmatch version is a new video, so you choose where it goes on YouTube. These are the usual places.
- A channel for that language. It builds its own subscribers and its own home page. YouTube says separate channels help most for languages with their own alphabet or search terms, such as Tamil and Bengali. You must run and post to each channel on its own.
- A playlist on your main channel. Your views and subscribers stay in one place. YouTube suggests a playlist or a section for each language. Then viewers find their videos among posts in mixed languages.
- Shorts. Send the short cuts too. Each one comes back with your mouth matched, ready to post as a Short in that language.
- Outside YouTube. The same file plays on Reels and on your website, because the new voice and the new mouth are part of the video.
- Before you earn from a second channel, read YouTube's current rules on reused content and monetisation.
Plans for channels that post every week
Channels with a steady upload schedule can put Lipsmatch on a monthly plan. Together we agree on the hours of finished video each month and the languages. The versions then arrive in regular batches.
A plan can cover your archive as well as your new uploads. You choose which older videos go first.
Multi-channel networks and creator agencies can cover every channel they manage with one volume plan, through our partner terms.
To start, send one scene from a recent video. We send it back at no cost and with no commitment, before you choose a plan.
Lipsmatch on YouTube questions
Can YouTube auto dub my videos?
It can, as a machine dub on an extra audio track. Lipsmatch gives you a finished video for each language, with your own recreated voice and your mouth matched to every word. An audio track changes only the sound, so your mouth keeps speaking the original language. You post the Lipsmatch version as its own upload.
Can you match my mouth to a dub I already added on YouTube?
Yes. Send us the video and the same dub file you uploaded for each language. We fit your mouth to every word of it, frame by frame. Our team checks each version. The voice on your dub stays exactly as you recorded it. You get a new video for each language, ready to post on a channel for that language or in a playlist.
Why does a Lipsmatch version go up as a separate video?
Because we change the picture. An audio track only swaps the sound on a video you already posted. The mouth you filmed stays on screen. A Lipsmatch version has a new mouth wherever you speak. That makes it a new video file. You upload it like any other video, with a title and description in its language.
What do I send you, and what do I get back?
Send the file you exported from your edit and name the languages. If you have a dub, send it too. We match your mouth to it. If you have none, we translate your own words into each language and check them. Our technology then recreates your voice to speak them. Each language comes back as one finished video, checked by our team and ready to post.
Will a Lipsmatch version sound like me?
Yes, when we make the dub. Our technology recreates your voice from your recordings and follows the delivery of your original take. Clean voice audio helps the most. If you bring your own dub, viewers hear that dub. We match your mouth to it.
Can I post a Lipsmatch version as a YouTube Short?
Yes. Send the full video, or the short cuts you made from it. Each one comes back with your mouth matched, as its own file for each language. Post it as a Short on your main channel or on a channel for that language. The same file also works on Reels and on your website.
Does YouTube allow AI voices for monetisation?
In July 2025, YouTube said that the use of AI tools does not by itself affect monetisation. Its rules target repetitive or mass-produced content. A Lipsmatch version is your own video in a new language, checked by our team before you post it. Read the current rules of YouTube before you publish. Our AI dubbing rules guide covers labels.
