Lipsmatch Brands
One ad film in every language, with AI lip sync
Send us the ad you shot once. Bring your own dubs, or we translate your script and recreate your ambassador's voice. We do this only with the approvals you already have. We match the mouth to every word. You get a broadcast master for each language.
One ad, shot in Hindi, now speaking Tamil
Britannia shot this 50-50 Golmaal film once, in Hindi. It ran in IPL primetime. Tap Hindi to watch it as it was shot. Then tap Tamil. Tap Original to hear the client's Tamil dub over the Hindi mouth. In Lipsmatch, the mouth forms every Tamil word.
A dubbed ad still speaks the original language
Many ad films are shot once, often in Hindi. Then a studio dubs them for each state. The new voice speaks Tamil or Bengali. The mouth still speaks Hindi.
Regional viewers see the gap, most of all in a close-up. To them, the ad looks made for someone else.
In August 2025, VTION and Affle surveyed 1,850 people across India. Their report found that 79% of users engage better with ads in their local language. It also says over 70% of marketers now invest in state-specific campaigns.
Lipsmatch gives each state the film you approved, with a mouth that speaks its language.

Share the film and the plan
Send the final film and each cutdown that will air. Add the date each market goes live. If you have your own dubs, add them too. Our guide to preparing your film lists the files that help most. We are glad to sign your NDA first. Your files travel encrypted, stay in secure storage, and only the people on your campaign can open them.
Approve each translation
We translate your approved script for each market. Each line fits the length of its shot. Your team reads and approves each translation before we make any voice.
Hear the voice, see the mouth
Our technology recreates your ambassador's voice to speak the approved translation. Then we match the mouth to each word. If you sent dubs, we match the mouth to those.
Approve and air
Our team checks every version first. You review and approve each language. Each market then airs the same ad in its own language.
New shoot, plain dub or Lipsmatch
Brands have 3 common ways to run one ad in many languages. This table shows what each one asks of you.
| Question | Lipsmatch | A new shoot per language | A dub only |
|---|---|---|---|
| Shoots | One | One for each language | One |
| Mouth and words | They match, frame by frame | They match | The mouth speaks the original language |
| Voice | The ambassador's own voice, recreated, or your own dub | The ambassador's own voice | Usually a different person's voice |
| The approved film | Kept as approved, with the mouth matched | A new film in each market | Kept as approved |
| What sets the cost | Film length, languages, speaking faces and who makes the dub | Crew, set, star dates and a new edit for each language | A translation and a recording for each language |

Check your approvals before the first language
We work only with the approvals you already have for the face and the voice on screen. This list helps your legal team check them early. It is a guide. Your lawyer has the final word.
- Who signs. The ambassador or their agency, and the owner of the film.
- Which languages. Every language you plan to air, including English for markets abroad.
- Which media. TV, YouTube, Instagram, your website and in-store screens.
- How long. The campaign period, and what happens to each version after it ends.
- The voice. Make sure that the approval names voice recreation in each language you plan.
- The label. If a platform or the ad rules ask for a label, agree how you mark AI changes on screen.
Weekly video, and campaigns your agency runs
Lipsmatch also fits brands that publish video every week.
A monthly plan suits a steady flow of product demos, how-to films and social cuts. You agree on the hours of finished video and the languages once. The language versions arrive in batches on a schedule you agree. You get one bill each month.
If your agency runs the campaign, it can bring us in. See how we work with agencies.

Ad dubbing questions
How much does dubbing an ad cost in India?
We quote each campaign after we see the film and your list of markets. The quote depends on the film length, the number of languages and cutdowns, and how many faces speak. It also depends on who makes the dubs, your studio or our team. A brand that localises video every month can move to a monthly plan with one bill each month.
Can our brand ambassador's lips match the Tamil or Telugu version?
Yes. Lipsmatch changes the mouth on every speaking face to match the new words, frame by frame. It works in tight close-ups, in fast dialogue between 2 people, and when a spoon crosses the mouth mid-line. The Bourbon campaign for Britannia had all three, and it aired across India in 9 languages.
Is it legal to recreate our brand ambassador's voice in another language?
It depends on your contract with the ambassador. The contract must name the new languages, the media and the time period. In July 2024, the Bombay High Court gave a temporary order on a singer's voice. It stopped several parties, including AI tool platforms, from using his voice and likeness commercially without his permission. We recreate a voice only with the approvals you already have.
Do AI-dubbed ads need a label in India?
Often, yes. India's amended IT Rules came into force on 20 February 2026. They ask platforms to label audio and video that AI changed to look real. ASCI is India's ad standards body. Its final rules on AI in ads apply from the end of 2026. They ask for a label when a real person's voice is recreated for personalised messages. They do not name dubbing, so ask your lawyer before your campaign airs. Rules for AI dubbing covers India and the EU.
Will the regional versions pass broadcast QC?
Yes. We make each master for broadcast QC. Our 75+ broadcast masters for national brands passed QC and aired on national networks in India. Each language comes back at full resolution, with the same cuts as your approved edit. Share the channel specs with your film, and we work to them.
Will the line still sell in each language?
Yes. We dub the script you give us. We translate it into each language and keep the offer and the brand words. Each line fits the length of its shot. Your team approves each translation first. If your agency changes a line for one market, send us that version. We dub it as written.
How fast can every language be ready for launch day?
Ask us with your airdates, because the time depends on the campaign. The film length, the number of languages and who makes the dubs all change it. We build the schedule around your first airdate. Before we start, we tell you if every market can go live on time.
Can you make our ad in languages outside India?
Yes. We support 90+ languages and accents, such as Spanish, Arabic and French. The 12 languages we shipped so far are Indian languages and English. For a new language, we start with one scene, and your team watches it first. In the EU, Article 50 of the AI Act applies from 2 August 2026. It asks for a label on ads with AI-changed video of real people.
